MIAMI, March 1, 2003 – doublesys Corp. today introduced the company's founding management team.

•  Robert L. Trinka will serve as doublesys's chairman and chief executive officer. He has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience with a specialization in the managed care industry. Prior to founding the company, he served as the president of Healthcare Risk Partners and in senior positions with Aon Healthcare Insurance Services, John Alden Financial Corp. and The Doctors Co.

•  Walter C. Marsh, FSA, MAAA, who will serve as senior vice president and chief actuary. Marsh has 30 years of insurance industry experience with an extensive background in Medicare managed care risk management, business development, medical stop-loss reinsurance, product pricing, reserving and profitability management. Prior to joining the company, he was president of Marsh & Associates, a healthcare actuarial consulting firm. In addition, he served as vice president and chief actuary for Alden Risk Management Services, vice president and actuary with Anthem Inc. and as an executive actuary with Jefferson-Pilot Insurance.

•  Fidel R. Rodriguez, MBA, MCSE, FLMI, who will serve as vice president and chief information officer. Rodriguez has 18 years of experience in software development and systems integration in the insurance industry. Prior to joining the company, he served in senior information technology positions with Cellit Technologies and John Alden Life/Fortis Health.

•  Virginia M. Gruler, who will serve as vice president of health plan development. Gruler has 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and the development and management of integrated healthcare delivery systems. Before joining doublesys, she was founder and president of a managed healthcare and physician organization consulting firm that built and managed an independent physician association network with a $36 million Medicare risk contract. In addition, she held senior positions with Hospital Corp. of America, including the post of director of the physician hospital organization for the West Florida Hospital Division.

•  Andy Badolato will serve as senior vice president of corporate finance. He has 17 years of experience in corporate finance, venture capital and private investment banking. Badolato has co-founded, developed and overseen 18 companies that have raised more than $1 billion in private equity. Prior to founding doublesys, he was the founder and president of MILCOM Technologies, a leader in the commercialization of technologies that originated in the defense industry.

•  Michael W. Hawkins, who will serve as vice president of administration. Hawkins has 20 years of business administration experience with a focus on general accounting, project management, contract administration, human resources, purchasing and facilities management. Before this, he was founder and president of 2PlayCorp., a business management and information technology outsourcing company. In addition, he served as an operations officer with the U.S. Air Force.

•  David Otto, who will serve as general counsel. Otto has experience in corporate law, public and private securities offerings and venture capital financing. He is the founder of The Otto Law Group, a boutique law firm that works with entrepreneurs involved with start-up and emerging growth companies.
